I hope you had a great Christmas! Let me tell you about mine - 1st my people make all this really good smelling food. Then they put it in containers with lids - results? No more smelling and certainly I can't get in the containers - even when I accidentally get on the table! You'd think they would be smarter than to put the chairs so close I can jump right on the table. Oh well, they can't think of everything.
Then about the time I think they will give in and give me the whole chicken they just roasted - they don't! At least I get to bark alot at the people who visit. They all brought presents - I've been trying to unwrap the ones under that monster tree for days! I found a safe place to hide - I get on the back of my people's necks and lie on the back of the sofa or chair with my head around their neck. Nice and warm. Helps me not get stepped on!
Lots of soft clothing to get into, and perfume to smell, candy and cookies to steal. All these kids had toys that fly thru the air and make lots of noise. I can do without that!
Well, I did enjoy some of the leftovers and I decided to sleep in the day after all this excitement! 12 hours of sleep. They finally woke me up to see if I was still alive AND made me go outside! You'd think they would let a sleeping dog lie!
Now for New Years! Maybe some new feast will happen and I can get a taste! Happy New Year!
